COVID-19 Screening and "Anti-Body" Screening to Get People Back to Work.
SampleServe, Inc. has a mobile app for environmental
sampling. Our app can very easily be modified for all the remote collection and
sampling for COVID-19 medical screening locations being established across the
state and country. In addition to the COVID testing, it also seems that a path
to getting people back to work is to do a similar screening of people for the “antibody”. Mass remote testing for the antibody would
indicate if people have had the virus and developed the antibody for COVID and are
now immune to the virus and thus “clear" to resume public work and work
with the vulnerable population. This type of antibody public testing will allow
many people to get back to work sooner rather than later, thus minimizing overall
economic impact to the economy.
This video will help explain how remote medical screening for
both the virus and the antibody might work: https://youtu.be/VuVWeraN79g
Our apps cut the time for each individual screening,
sampling, and data management time (appx. 15 min to about 2 - 3 mins) and
reduce the number of people needed, thus minimizing possible spread of the
virus.
Our technology keeps the patient information digitally tied
to the sample container and the sample results. Our reporting system can
already do "real-time actionable data reporting". Our mobile app
collects GPS with every sample collected. Results can be immediately reported
based on the sample collection location if desired. Again, we already do this
with our environmental product, and I would be happy to demonstrate it.
Here is how it works: Sampling collection entities, like
health departments, hospitals, etc.., simply download our Field Sampling App
from the Google Play Store and then create an account for their department. Laboratories download the separate Lab App and
create an account and a contact email. The sampling entities (health
department, etc..) types in the contact email of the preferred laboratory and from
that point on, the sampler and the lab are connected. Want to change labs, type
in a new connection.
To collect a sample, the sampling entity (health department,
etc..) simply collects patient data using the sampling app, automatically
labels the sample containers with the portable printer, and then ships the
samples to the laboratory. The laboratory can receive the data by simply
scanning the sample containers QR codes with the Lab App upon arrival. A data
file is generated and uploaded to the labs data management system. It's that
simple!
For the optional geographic reporting, once a laboratory
analysis is complete, they report data back to the platform and we can generate
the geo-located reports indicating all three states of the disease (1-never had
it, 2-currently has it, or 3-immune) in
a matter of seconds, continuously and in real-time.
In addition, there are significant long-term uses and benefits
for the health departments and hospitals for future routine medical screenings and
testing, both in house and for remote locations.
